Minimum Requirements

1. Must be at least 23 years old at time of application. 
2. Must have a minimum of 24 months current/recent 24 months out of the last 36 months) verifiable CMV driving experience. Intermodal experience is not required but preferred. 
3. Must have a valid TWIC Card.
4. No felony convictions within the last 10 years. 
5. No drug or alcohol related incidents within the last 10 years. No more than one (1) in a lifetime. 
6. No failed drug or alcohol tests or refusal to test.
7. Must pass DOT physical and DOT pre-employment drug screen at our company doctor. 
8. Have no DOT Recordable/Preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injury or towed vehicle in the last 36 months. 
9. No more than two (2) Non-DOT Recordable/Preventable incidents in the last 36 months and no more than one (1) Non-DOT Recordable/Preventable incidents in the last 12 months. 
10. No convictions for a “serious or disqualifying traffic violation” in the last 36 months. A “serious or disqualifying traffic violation” includes any of the following:

• Excessive speeding, involving any single offense for any speed of 15 M.P.H. or more above the posted speed limit.
• Reckless/Careless driving, as defined by state or local law or regulation, including but not limited to the offense of driving a motor vehicle in willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property.
• Improper or erratic lane changes.
• Following the vehicle ahead too closely.
• Hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, or failure to report an accident.
• Violating a federal, state or local law or ordinance prohibiting texting while driving a motor vehicle.
• Violating a federal, state or local law or ordinance restricting or prohibiting the use of a hand-held mobile device while driving a motor vehicle.

    11. No more than three (3) moving violations in the last 36 months and no more than one (1) moving violations in the last 12 months.
