Supply Chains are experiencing severe congestion at the ocean, rail, and airports for inbound and outbound cargo. The congestion at these crucial ports throughout the U.S. results in last minute cancellations of booked cargo, a severe cargo shortage of truck drivers, chassis, and containers. Due to these conditions in the international market, it is the norm to experience delays that are higher than what has occurred in the past regarding the movement of cargo. These conditions also result in charges assessed by other parties to the supply chain. Charges, such as Split Chassis, Pre-Pull, Storage, Dry Drayage, Detention, Demurrage, and Per Diem fees may be on your invoices. These charges, which are out of our control, are necessary to facilitate the movement of your cargo. These are pass though charges that you are responsible for.
